A local trader of milk was killed on Saturday as a motorcycle collided head-on with his milk carrying three-wheeler on Satkhira-Kaliganj road in Debhata upazila of the district.
The deceased was identified as Nitta Ghosh, son of Shibnath Ghosh of Jagannathpur village in the upazilla, reports UNB.
The locals said that a motorcycle from opposite side hit the three-wheeler around 1:30pm killing Nitta on the spot.
The sub-inspector of Debhata Police Station Yamin Ali said the body was sent to Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
