Two sisters crushed under train in B’baria 

Brahmanbaria, Oct 4 (UNB) -Two sisters were crushed under a train at Shimrailkandi under Bijaynagar upazila in Brahmanbaria on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Pushpa Akhter, 13, and Shirina Akhter, 14, daughters of Shafiqul Islam of Islampur village.

Shyamol Kanti Das, officer-in-charge of Akhaura Railway Police Station, said a Dhaka-bound container train from Akhaura hit Pushpa and Shirina while they were walking on the track in the afternoon, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the bodies, reports UNB.
