A man sustained burn injuries in an acid attack allegedly by his wife at Darikharbona in Rajshahi on Saturday.
The injured man was identified as Babul Islam, according to UNB.
Babul's wife told police that she threw one kind of cleaning material on her husband's face to save herself from his torture, said Masud Rana, sub-inspector of Upasahar police camp.
Later, Babul was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
