A woman was killed when a bus knocked her down at Chandpur in Natore Sadar uapzila on Wednesday.
The deceased Mamtaz Begum was a vegetable vendor.
Mostafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station, said the accident took place in the area when a bus hit her while crossing the road in the morning on her way to a wholesale vegetable market, leaving her dead on the spot.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue, UNB reported citing the official.
