A young man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of a house at Dashmari Hindupara in Rajshahi city on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Sajon Ali, 20, son of Ashraf Ali of the area, says a UNB report.
Quoting family members, Shahadat Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Motihar Police Station, said getting no response from Sajon in the evening, his sister Kanchan saw him hanging with a rope.
Later, they entered the room breaking the door and informed the matter to police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital morgue.
