Police recovered the bullet-riddled body of a man in Benapole early Saturday.
Police were informed after local people spotted the body at Choto Achra area. The dead man is presumably 30 years old, said Masud Karim, officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station.
The lawmen then recovered the body from the scene and sent it to Jashore General Hospital for an autopsy, UNB reported.
A case was filed with Benapole Port Police Station.
