Ctg family planning officer found after remaining ‘missing’ for days

A Health and Family Planning Officer of Boalkhali Health Complex, who reportedly went missing on Monday, was found on Wednesday at AK Khan intersection of Chittagong city.

UNB quoting Officer-in-Charge of Boalkhali Police Station Himagshu Kumar Das said they took Dr Ratan Dey to the police station after a bus dropped him at the intersection around 9:00am.

The victim's wife Neli Dey said Dr Ratan left his residence Monday morning to attend a meeting at the civil surgeon's office.

Since then, he remained traceless.

The worried wife filed a general diary with the police station in this regard Monday night.

Later, Dr Ratan said he does not know where he had been for the last two days.
