DB arrest four drug traders in city

Detectives arrested four alleged drug traders along with 2,000 Yaba pills from the city's Sayedabad area on Thursday afternoon.

The arrestees are Al Amin alias Saimon, 26, Md Monir alias Manik, 24, Mirajul Islam alias Miraj, 23, and Limon, 18, reports UNB.

Based on secret information, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted a drive in front of the central workshop of Directorate General of Food around 5pm and arrested them along with the Yaba tablets, said DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media) Masudur Rahman.

The team also recovered Tk 500,000 in cash.
