Unidentified miscreants hacked a ward Chhatra League president to death and injured another one in capital’s Mohakhali TnT Colony area in the early hours of Firday.
Rakib Hasan, president of Banani (ward-19) unit Bangladesh Chhatra League, and Nurul Islam were hacked indiscriminately by unidentified miscreants around 12.30am in the area.
Hearing the commotions, locals rushed to the spot and took them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where Rakib succumbed to his injuries later.
A case was lodged in this regard, reports BSS.
