Miscreants hack man to death in Chuadanga

A young man was chopped to death by some miscreants at Khaspara village in Sadar upazila of Chuadanga district on Monday.

Tozammel Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said acting on a tip-off, police recovered the body of Ripon Sarker (30), son of Latif Sarker of the Khaspara village, from a water body around 9:00 am. 

Unidentified assailants might chop Ripon with sharp weapons and later slit his throat, OC Tozammel added.

Later, the body was sent to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue.

Police detained three women for interrogation. Investigation is going on to find out the motive behind the killing, reports UNB.
