Police recovered a hanging body of a young man and a floating body of an unidentified youth from two spots of Raipur and Sadar upazilas of Laxmipur district on Saturday.
In Raipur upazila, police recovered a hanging body of Abu Sayeed from Charbangshi area of the upazila in the morning, said AKM Azizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Raipur Police Station.
He said locals spotted the body hanging from a tree and informed police. Later, police recovered it, reports UNB.
Police, however, could not clear whether it was murder or suicide.
In Sadar upazila, locals spotted a body of an unidentified youth floating in a water body in Podder Bazar area of the upazila and informed police.
Mokter Hossian, officer-in-charge of Chandraganj Police Station, said on information, police recovered the body.
Police suspect that the young man might have been strangled to death, the OC added.
