Suspected smuggler held with four gold bars in Teknaf

Members of Coast Guard have arrested a suspected smuggler along with four gold bars from Baroitoli area in Teknaf upazila early Thursday.

Lt Commander B N Abdullah Al Maruf of Coast Guard, said on information, a team conducted a drive around 1:00am and arrested Md Abdullah, 28, from the area along with the gold bars weighing 660gram.

The seized gold bars were handed over to Teknaf Police, according to a news agency report.
