Two siblings held with 0.10m Yaba tablets in Chittagong

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two siblings along with 0.10 million Yaba tablets from Pahartali area of the port city early Wednesday.

The arrestees have been identified as Md Mobarak, 36, and his brother Md Salman, 23, sons of late Hazi Mohammad Eshak of BGB Camp (Mobaraker Bari) area in Cox's Bazar Sadar upazila, according to a UNB report.

Tipped off, a team of RAB-7 conducted a drive at AK Khan intersection around 12:10am and arrested the duo along with Yaba pills worth Tk 50 million, Tk 25,090 in cash, and a cheque of Tk 70,000, said Mimtanur Rahman, assistant director (media) of the elite force battalion.
