A Manikganj court has sentenced a woman among two to death for murdering her husband in Harirampur upazila of the district in 2011.
The condemned convicts are Selina Akter, wife of murdered Idris Ali and Md Nazrul Islam.
District and sessions judge Md Mizanur Rahman handed down the verdict on Tuesday acquitting another accused Dulal, says a UNB report.
According to the prosecution, Idris Ali (35) was murdered at Kamarghona village in Harirampur upazila on November 28, 2011.
Detective Branch of police later filed a case against three people, including the wife of the deceased, with Monirampur Police Station.
