Deaths of children in road accidents across the country increased by 75.63 per cent in 2018 compared to those of 2017, according to data provided by Bangladesh Shishu Adhikar Forum (BSAF).
The number of children killed in the accidents was 627 in 2018, while it was 357 in 2017, according to BSAF data revealed on Wednesday.
Besides, the data added, 480 children were killed in 2015 and 252 in 2016 during the road mishaps.
