The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 73 from the capital in regular anti-narcotics drives in the last 24 hours which ended on Thursday evening.
Several teams of DMP the drive the regular drives arrested suspected offenders from different parts of the capital.
DMP seized 9,650 pieces of yaba, 357 grams of heroin, and 1.2 kilogramme cannabis and 20 cans of beers with other drug items, according to a statement.
A total of 50 cases were filed under the Narcotic Control Act against the suspects with the concerned police stations in the city.
