A student of Dhaka University has died while taking a bath at the university swimming pool.
The deceased has been identified as Swoad (19), hailing from Bogra district.
He was a first-year student of the philosophy department.
The incident took place at the swimming pool adjacent to the central playground of DU at around 2:30 pm on Monday. After falling unconscious, he was rushed to hospital by his classmates. The doctors then pronounced him dead.
