A housewife died from electrocution at Kanungopara in Boalkhali upazila of Chattogram on early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Kanika Dey, 20, wife of Sujit Dey.
Family sources said that Kanika received shock when she was unplugging a charge light from a connection around 12:30 am and sustained serious injuries, UNB reported.
Later, she was rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead, said Alauddin, assistant sub-inspector of hospital police outpost.
