A farmer died from electrocution at Sarker Para under Tentulia upazila in Panchagarh on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Jakir Hossain, 42, son of Jasim Uddin.
Md Jahurul Islam, officer-in-charge of Tentulia Model Police Station, said that Jakir got electrocuted when he was switching on the irrigation pump of his Boro paddy field in the morning.
Later, he died on way to hospital, reports UNB.
