Police arrested five young men along with five sharp weapons from Laladighirpar in Sylhet city on Thursday.
According to UNB news agency, the arrestees were identified as Mainul Islam Rana, 24, son of Fakhrul Mia, Manir Hossain, 18, son of Mustafa Hazi, Solaiman Ahmed, 19, son of Chunnu Mia, Imran Ahmed, 18, son of Helal Mia and Sultan Ahmed, 22 of the area.
Nure Alam, sub-inspector of Kotwali Police Station, said police arrested them as they were roaming in the area brandishing the weapons.
