Forest guards seize 25 kilograms venison in Sundarbans

The Forest Department seized 25 kilograms of venison (meat of deer) from Terkathikhal area in the Sundarbans under Burigoalini Forest Station in Shyamnagar upazila on Thursday night.

On information, forest guards conducted a drive in the area at around 8:00pm and seized the venison, said Burigoalini Forest Station official KM Kabir Uddin, reports UNB.

However, they failed to arrest the poachers, added the official.
