Joypurhat madrasa staff’s hanging body found in classroom

Police recovered the hanging body of a madrasa staff from the classroom in Gupinathpur union of Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat district on Saturday morning.

The deceased, identified as Jewel (31) was a son of Musa Khalifa, hailed from Purnandanathpur village, and office assistant of Purnandapinathpur Ali Mahmud Senior Madrasa.

Around 9:30 am in the morning, some students found the door of the classroom locked from inside and informed the authorities, according to sources.

The authorities broke the door later and found Jewel’s hanging body.

Being informed, police recovered the body around 11:30 am and primarily suspected that Jewel committed suicide, reports UNB.
