Keraniganj wall collapse kills two construction workers

Two construction workers were killed and another was injured as an under-construction mud and guard wall of a bridge on the embankment of Singho River collapsed on them in Darmashur area in Keraniganj on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Awlia, 25, and Moshiur Rahman, 40, UNB reported.

Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, sub-inspector of Keraniganj Model Police Station, said the wall and mud collapsed at around 9am while a group of workers was working there, leaving the duo dead on the spot and another injured.
