Khaleda's speech to create confusion: Obaidul Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader alleged that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia told lies about Awami League and Sheikh Hasina before the court.

"Her speeches will create confusion in the country’s political arena," he said.

Obaidul Quader was talking to reporters before attending meeting arranged by local Awami League at Kabirhat upazila of Noakhali, reports a local media.

The road transport and bridges minister said Sheikh Hasina was taken to court in a disrespect manner during the tenure of the army-backed caretaker government.

“But then immediate past Prime Minister Khaleda Zia was provided with all the modern facilities, including a house,” he said.
