A court here sentenced a man to death and two others to life term imprisonment for killing a girl in 2015.
The court handed down the verdict on Wednesday. The condemned convict is Ripon Mia.
Acording to the prosecution, the convicts slaughtered Nazmin, daughter of Akkas Ali to death at her grandfather's house in Sreepur upazila, where she used to live with her mother, over land dispute on October 30 in 2015, as per report on UNB .
The deceased mother Asma Begum filed a case with Sreepur Police Station that day.
Later, investigation officer of the case submitted charge against the accused.
After examining the records and witnesses, Gazipur District and Sessions Judge AKM Enamul Haque pronounced the verdict.
