Some unidentified miscreants hacked a man to death at Poyda village of Sadar upazila in Pabna on early Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Alim (30), son of Abu Bakkar of the village, a news agency reported.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body from Poyda playground and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Abdur Razzak, officer-in-charge of Pabna Sadar Police Station.
Police said the victim might have been killed over previous enmity.
