A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Semakhali-Laskerpur intersection crossing in sadar upazila of Narail district on Thursday morning.
Police said the deceased was identified as Akash Sheikh, 22, son of Yunus Shaikh of Raghunathpur village in Kalia upazila of the district.
Akash died on the spot when a Kalnaghat-bound bus from Khulna hit his motorcycle at around 11:15 am.
Being informed, the police rushed to the spot, rescued the body and sent it to the local hospital morgue, reports BSS.
A case was filed with Narail sadar police station in this connection.
