Nation to sing national anthem simultaneously on Mar 26

The national anthem 'Amar Sonar Bangla' will be sung simultaneously across the country on the Independence Day on March 26.

Educational institutions run by Bangladesh missions abroad will sing the national anthem together with that in Bangladesh if possible and others will sing it at a convenient time on the day, said a PID handout on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead the nation in singing the national anthem at the main programme at 'Jatiya Shishu Kishore Samabesh', scheduled to be held at Bangabandhu National Stadium on the day.

Besides, awards will be distributed among the winning teams of the 'Singing of National Anthem in Right Tune' competition held on March 10-18.
