Highway police in several drives arrested 25 people along with huge amount of drug items, including Yaba tablets, hemp, phensidyl syrup and wine, from Comilla, Gazipur and Bogra districts on Thursday.
Sources at the Highway Police Headquarters said 14 people were arrested along with 20,780 pieces Yaba pills, 12 kg hemp, 774 bottles of phensidyle syrup and one stolen motorcycle from various spots of Comilla region of Highway police, reports UNB.
Besides, Highway police of Gazipur region arrested seven people along with 13 liters of local wine while Highway police of Bogra region arrested four people along with 525 grams of hemp.
