Police in a drive arrested five suspected drug traders along with drugs from Savar municipality in the early hours of Sunday.
The arrestees are Harun, 28, Mehedi Hasan, 20, Sagor, 21, Jahurul and Robu, 21.
A team of police conducted the drive in the area and arrested the drug traders, the associates of listed drug trader Shamim, along with 400 pieces of Yaba tablets, 13 bottles of Phensedyl and two rounds of bullet, said police.
However, Shamim managed to flee, UNB reported quoting the official.
A case was filed in this connection.
