Police arrested 23 people including 18 wanted accused and five accused in regular cases from different areas of Habiganj district in the last 12-hour ending at 9:00am on Wednesday morning.
Detective Branch (DB) of police sources said, they were picked up from different areas of the district on different charges, BSS reports.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with different police stations against the arrestees, the sources added.
The arrested were sent to jail.
