Police have recovered the beheaded body of a man in Sylhet on Saturday morning.
The victim was identified as Sultan Miah, aged 30 years, son of Alkas Miah of Durga Kandi village in Sunamganj district.
According to Rigan, sub-inspector of Bishwanath Police Station, local people spotted the severed body left on the road at Rampasha area in Bishwanath upazila at around 8:30 am and informed police.
The head of the victim was recovered from a bamboo orchard near the road, UNB reported.
Police then recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.
