The High Court has granted six-month interim bail to four BNP leaders including the party chairperson's adviser Kabir Murad in a case filed under special powers act.
The other three are: Aninda Islam Amit, assistant organising secretary of BNP Khulna unit, Md Sazzadur Rahman, vice-president of BNP Narail unit, and Iskandar Ali, vice-president of BNP Jashore unit.
A bench of Justice Md Rezaul Haque and Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar passed the order on Sunday, according to a UNB report.
The four among 59 activists were arrested from a meeting at Kalia area in Narail on April 20.
