Five union election offices of BNP in Barishal have allegedly been vandalised in Bakerganj upazila by the supporters of Jatiya Party candidate for Barishal-6 constituency.
BNP contestant for the parliamentary seat Abul Hossain alleged that the followers of Nasrin Jahan Ratna, who is contesting the election with 'Plough' symbol under the Awami League-led Grand Alliance, ransacked three offices in Kabai, Dudhal and Choramoddi unions on Thursday while two more in Bharpasha and Padrishibpur on Wednesday.
The attackers also looted valuables from the offices, according to a UNB report.
However, officer-in-charge of Bakerganj Police Station Masuduzzaman said no incident of vandalism took place in Bakerganj.
