RAB arrests two with 148,000 Yaba tablets

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two suspected drug traders along with 148,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Baklia thana area in Chattogram on Wednesday morning.

The arrestees are Kamal Hawlader, 41, son of Najar Ali, hailing from Barishal district and MdAnis, 40, son of Yakub Ali, hailing from Shariatpur district.

Md Mashkur Rahman, assistant superintendent of Police of RAB-7, said that on secret information, a team of RAB conducted drive in the area in the morning and seized a gas-cylinder-laden pickup van, reports UNB.

Later, the team recovered the Yaba tablets concealed in a gas cylinder in a special technique.
