Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested a 'drug peddler' with 1,035 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Saturday night.
The arrestee was identified as Md Al Amin, 25, son of Md Kholil of the area, reports UNB.
An elite force team conducted a drive in the area and arrested Al-Amin with the Yaba pills, said ASP Md Nahid Hasan, company commander of RAB-11 in Munshiganj.
Later, he was handed over to police and a case was field with Sirajdikhan Police Station in this connection, the RAB official added.
