Two people were killed when a truck hit a van at Godown Para in Sapahar upazila headquarters of Naogaon region on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Abdus Salam, 24, son of Majed Ali of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district and Hiron Bepari, 30, son of Siddique Bepari of Bhola district.
Shamsul Alam Shah, officer-in-charge of Sapahar Police Station, said the accident took place around 7 am when the Chapainawabganj-bound paddy-laden truck hit a mango-laden van, leaving two mango traders dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy, reports UNB.
