Police arrested two persons with Indian fake currency of RS 3 lakh raiding in Shingnagar frontier area under Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Friday night.
The arrested persons are Shawkat Ali (25) and Sumon Ali (23), of Thutapara village of the upazila, a news agency reported.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Shibganj Police Station raided in the area around 6:45 pm and arrested them with the Indian fake notes, said Police.
A case was filed with Shibganj Thana in this regard.
