A young man died reportedly after falling from the Mayor Hanif Flyover in Dhaka city's Swamibagh area on Wednesday night.
He was identified as Mahibul Hasan Hridoy, 26, son of Abdul Halim from Louhajang upazila of Munshiganj. He had been living in a rented house in front of Narinda police camp.
Local people spotted Hridoy lying in a pool of blood under the flyover in front of Mitali High School near Wari Police Station at around 8:00pm and informed police.
Asiful Ahmed, sub-inspector of Wari Police Station, was quoted by UNB news agency as saying that they rescued the youth and rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he was declared dead.
