DU directs to end all activities at TSC by 8pm

Dhaka University authorities directed for ending all types of activities at its Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) by 8pm every day.

Acting TSC Director AMM Mohiuzzaman Chowdhury said on Saturday said the university took the decision to ensure security of the university’s students and teachers.

He said some unexpected incidents occurred in the TSC area recently involving outsiders, reports UNB.

The TSC authorities issued a notice on October 17 asking 19 organisations housed in the TSC to run their activities from 9am to 8pm every day, Mohiuzzaman said.

Prior permission will be required to continue the activities after 8pm, he said.
