Mia Saheb Maidan Khanqah Sharif to observe Urs

Mia Saheb Maidan Khanqueh Sharif, situated at Mia Shaheb Maidan in Luxmibazar of  Dhaka  south, will hold religious discussions, Hamd and Nat-e-Rasul (sm), milad and doa mahfil marking the  40th holy annual urs (death  anniversery) of the 7th Goddinshin Pir of the Khanqueh  Sharif  Alhaj Hazrat Moulana Shah Sufi Sayed Ahmed Ullah (RA)  after Maghrib prayers on Wednesday (tomorrow), said a press release. 

Ninth Goddinashin Peer Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahamadur Rahim, who is also the mutawalli of  Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and director of Mia Saheb  Maidan Shah Saheb  Bari Jame Masjid will conduct the discussions, doa mahfil and akheri munazat.

The programme will begin through recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Dr Mohammad Ishtiaq Sazzadur Rahman while Hafez Faruk and Hafez Rahmatulla will resume the milad mahfil. 

Pesh Imam as also khatib of Shah Saheb  Bari Jame Masjid Hazrat Maulana Jabed Omar Al- Kaderi  and other Islami scholars will participate in discussion. 

Later, tabarak will be distributed among the devotees. Convener of the programme Saiyed Toiyab Morshed Araf  has invited all to attend the function.
