Rain likely Friday

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BSS citing met office officials.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 35.4 degree Celsius at Mongla and lowest temperature today was recorded 19.2 degree Celsius at Chuadanga.

Highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6 am Friday was recorded by 105 millimetres (mm) at Jessore.
