ACC asks three owners to stop building construction

After an eviction drive, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday gave a notice to stop construction of three buildings at New Bailey Road.

On information, an ACC enforcement team conducted the drive in presence of Rajuk Zone-6 representatives, said ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, reports UNB.

The team found that building owners were flouting code and rules set by Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), he added.

Apart from this, the team gave a notice to remove illegally installed tube-well from the intersection of road number 19, 20, 21 and 22 in New Bailey Road area.
