Police arrested 16 people including nine wanted accused and seven accused in regular cases from different areas of Habiganj district in last 12-hour ending at 9:00 am on Friday morning.
Detective Branch (DB) of police sources said, they were picked up from different areas of the district on different charges.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with different police stations against the detainees, BSS reports.
The detainees were then sent to jail.
