Police recovered the hanging body of a former college principal from a bathroom of his residence at Women's College Road in Cumilla on Monday morning.
The deceased is identified as Abdul Wahab, 60, former principal of Comilla Govt Women's College.
The body was sent to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, as per a UNB report.
They also recovered two suicide notes from his room where he wrote that he had no sexual relation with any of his female students and no one is responsible for his death.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Abu Salam Miah said they were investigating the suicide notes.
The body bore injury marks on its genital and neck, he said.
