DBBL opens Tier-4 Data Center

Dutch-Bangla Bank has inaugurated the most modern and state-of-the art Data Center which has been certified by epi as Rated-4 (Tier-4). This is the first and only Rated-4 (Tier-4) Data Center in Bangladesh. This makes Dutch-Bangla Bank the most digitally secure bank and has also doubled the bank's processing power.

Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and ICT formally inaugurated the Dutch-Bangla Bank's Rated-4 (Tier-4) Data Center as the Chief Guest on Saturday. Mr. S.M. Moniruzzaman, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present as the Special Guest at the programme. Mr. Partha Pratim Deb, Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCS), Mr. M. Sahabuddin Ahmed, Founder, Dutch-Bangla Bank and Chairman, Dutch-Bangla Bank Foundation, Mr. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Md. Fakhrul Islam and Mr. Mohd. Khorshed Alam, Directors of the Bank were also present in the program.

Dutch-Bangla Bank is the only bank that operates 02 (two) independent live Data Centers and a third Disaster Recovery Data Center. This infrastructure ensures customer service uptime. In the event of any disaster or calamity this new system ensures customer data security and data protection, because any of the 02 (two) Data Centers can run independently. This makes Dutch-Bangla Bank the safest digital bank in the country.
