Dhaka University Proctor Prof AKM Golam Rabbani reportedly received a death threat on Tuesday.
The university authorities filed a general diary with Shahbagh Police Station over the matter.
Contacted, the DU proctor said that an audio message was sent to the mobile phone number of Assistant Proctor Dr Liton Kumar Saha around 12:11pm.
"In the 29-second audio record, someone claiming himself from the Army headquarters used bad language about me and threatened to hack me within a few days," Prof Golam Rabbani said, reports UNB.
