ECNEC approves 39 projects involving Tk 866.87 billion

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Sunday approved 39 projects involving an overall cost of Tk 866.87 billion.

The approval came from the ECNEC meeting held at NEC conference room in Dhaka with Ecnec Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, reports UNB.

Briefing reporters after the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal informed that a total of 40 projects were placed in Sunday's ECNEC meeting.

But the meeting approved 39 projects involving an overall cost of Tk 866.87 billion."

Among the total estimated cost, Tk 664.67 billion will come from the national exchequer, while Tk 199.07 billion as project assistance and Tk 3.13 billion from the own funds of the organisations concerned.
