Five IU students to receive PM Gold Medal

A total of five students from different faculties of the Islamic University (IU) have been selected for the Prime Minister Gold Medal for their outstanding academic results.

Every year the University Grants Commission honours brilliant students with the medals.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the medals to the students at her office in the upcoming prize giving ceremony, IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said.

The selected students are: Maksud Iqbal of Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department, Bulbul Ahmed of Arabic Language and Literature, SM Nahidul Islam of Finance and Banking, Wazidur Rahman of the Department of Law and Rezwanur Rahman of Biotechnology and Genetics Engineering, reports UNB.
