Genex Infosys signs business deal with Robi Axiata

The Genex Infosys Limited has informed that they signed an agreement with Robi Axiata Limited for contact of offer and sell Multi-Play Service to Robi customers via the company’s ISP license.

The agreement will be for five years tenure which will increase the total revenue of the Genex Infosys, said the company through a web posting Tuesday without elaborating.

Genex Infosys, the largest call centre operator in Bangladesh and principal service of the company is Information Technology Enabled Service (ITES) and providing maintenance and support services both to domestic and international clients.

Each share of the Genex Infosys, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in February this year, closed at Tk 62.70 on Monday at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

The company raised a fund worth Tk 200 million from the capital market under the fixed price method by offloading 20 million ordinary shares at an offer price of Tk 10 each under the fixed price method.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 0.97 for January-March 2019 as against Tk 0.45 for January-March 2018.

In nine months for July 2018-March 2019, its EPS was Tk 1.73 as against Tk 1.42 for July 2017-March 2018.

The net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk 2.32 for July 2018-March 2019 as against Tk 3.23 for July 2017-March 2018.

The net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 16.19 as on March 31, 2019 and Tk 15.98 as on June 30, 2018.

The company’s paid-up capital is Tk 816 million, authorised capital is Tk 1.0 billion and the total number of securities is 81.60 million.

The sponsor-directors own 34.46 per cent stake in the company, while institutional investors own 32.48 per cent, foreign investors 0.01 per cent and the general public 33.05 per cent as of July 31, 2019.
